Summer Grilling Series

Welcome back to the Summer Grilling Series where I’m sharing delectable recipes for the grill all summer long. This grilled pork chops marinade won’t disappoint.

Anyone else eat a lot of chicken? I get in my stuck in my ways sometimes. But then I’ll remember… the other white meat! Boy, between the Grey Poupon comment and ‘the other white meat’, I’m dating myself.

Do you like mustard? One of the things I love about it is that a little goes a long way. And it has this tanginess to it that just makes your mouth water, and there are so many varieties. The acidity in mustard makes it a great tenderizer so your meat will be nice and juicy.

Grilled Pork Chops Marinade

No one wants chewy dry meat. Boneless pork chops are more of a lean cut and they can dry out easily if you’re not careful. Make sure you start with a really hot grill and don’t overcook them. If you buy the thin cut chops, they’ll only need 3-5 minutes per side.

The normal thicker cut will need a little longer. This has become one of our favorite grilled pork chop recipes. We also love these balsamic pork chops.

Freezer Friendly

Whip up a double batch of these maple mustard pork chops and toss one in the freezer. It’s a great way to keep a stocked freezer. This is what I’m doing so when we get back from vacation, I’ll actually have some food in the house.

So what have you been up to this summer? Any vacations? I’d love to hear about your adventures. We’re taking the kids to Florida. On an airplane. This should be be fun. Ha! It’ll be their first time on a plane and there’s much excitement about it. Along with fighting about who’s going to get the window seat. 😀
