Chai Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts of water
  • 8 premium black tea bags
  • 16 slices of fresh ginger peeled
  • 16 whole cloves
  • 16 cardamom seeds
  • 8 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 cup of honey OR 3 1/2 TBS of Truvia

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  2. Cook for 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low.
  3. Strain the tea in a fine mesh sieve
  4. Once the tea is cooled, pour it into a jar(s).
  5. Refrigerate.
  6. To prepare the tea latte, mix half tea and half milk.
  7. Heat and serve.
