BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger Nachos with Ground Turkey

Crunchy chips with melty cheese topped with ground turkey, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, cole slaw, and barbecue sauce.

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 pound ground turkey 93% lean, you will have left overs
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 16 oz corn tortilla chips
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup orange bell peppers diced
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 cup Reser's Stadium Cole Slaw


  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Warm the oil in a skillet and add the onions, saute' until translucent, about five minutes
  • Add the ground turkey, and brown until cooked through. When it's finished, drain if necessary
  • Add barbecue sauce, and stir. 
  • Place 1 layer of chips on a sheet pan, top with cheese. Add a second layer of chips and a second layer of cheese. Then add meat, bacon, and bell peppers.
  • Bake the nachos in the oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted, but not bubbly. Remove from the oven and top with tomatoes and cole slaw. Drizzle with barbecue sauce.
