Ingredients

  • 1 lime wedge cut in half so you have two pieces of lime. This just distributes it better in the glass.
  • 1/2 tsp truvia
  • 7-8 fresh mint leaves
  • 8 oz carbonated water such as La Croix
  • extra lime slices for garnish optional

Instructions

  • squeeze the lime juice from the wedges into a glass, drop the wedges in as well.
  • Add truvia, or sweetener of choice
  • Add the fresh mint leaves, and using a muddle, or the end of a wooden spoon, gently muddle (press) the lime and mint.
  • Fill the glass with ice, and add carbonated water, or soda water.
  • Garnish with additional lime, lime twist, or mint leaves. Enjoy!

Notes

If you don't want to use Truvia as your sweetener, there are several options. Here are the measurements per 8 oz of soda water:
sugar- 1 tsp, honey- 1 tsp, swerve- 1 tsp, simple syrup- 2 tsp, THM super sweet- 1/4 tsp, pure stevia- such a small amount I can't put a measure to it. Try and taste.
Make it your own! If you like your mojito sweeter, add more, if you prefer it less sweet then cut back.
