Greek Yogurt Grilled Chicken

Chicken drumsticks  marinated in Greek yogurt, lemon, garlic and oregano. Grilled to perfection for a delicious summer dinner.

  • 1 package chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup non fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoon oregano
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • juice of half of a lemon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • ¼ bunch fresh parsley, chopped


  • Place chicken in a shallow dish or ziplock freezer bag.
  • Combine remaining ingredients, whisk well.
  • Pour over the top of the chicken. Marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 day.
  • To cook, remove chicken from marinade and place on a preheated grill (400-500 degrees). Cook for 5-10 minutes per side or until cooked through.


Place all ingredients in a freezer bag, seal and push contents around to mix well. Place in a second freezer bag, label and lay flat in the freezer.
When ready to use, thaw in the refrigerator and follow cooking instructions
