A refreshing orange smoothie that tastes like the classic dreamsicle, except, this smoothie is actually good for you.  Refreshing, creamy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 1 scoop pure whey protein isolate powder
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 2 oranges, peeled
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in the blender in the order listed.
  • blend until smooth, serve immediately

Notes

I recommend 100% pure whey protein isolate powder because there are no fillers or sugars.
You can omit the protein powder if desired.
If you use frozen bananas, you won't need the ice.
