Melon Strawberry Bruschetta

watermelon, cantaloupe, and strawberries blended together with basil and balsamic to top off crusty french bread. A delicious appetizer or snack!

  • 2 to matoes diced
  • 1/2 cup watermelon diced
  • 1/2 cup cantaloupe diced
  • 8 Well-Pict Berries strawberries diced
  • 1/2 shallot finely chopped
  • 2 Tbs olive oil divided
  • 1 Tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 3-5 basil leaves chiffonade (sliced in thin strips)
  • 1 loaf french bread sliced into 1/2 inch thick


  • Combine fruit, 1 Tbs oil, vinegar and basil and mix well.
  • Brush the remaining olive oil on both sides of the slices of french bread.
  • Place the bread under the broiler just until toasted and golden.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and top with fruit mixture.
  • Enjoy!
