{DIY} Dried Cherries

Use a dehydrator to dry your own fresh cherries. Makes a great snack or topping for salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds cherries

Instructions

  • pit cherries using a cherry pitter.
  • place pitted cherries on the dehydrator trays.
  • Turn on the dehydrator to 135 degrees.
  • Rotate trays periodically.
  • Remove from trays and store in a ziplock bag in the fridge.

Notes

You can dehydrate in the oven as well. Set it to the lowest setting. It will not take as long as the dehydrator. Check them periodically for doneness.
