Slow Cooker Taco Soup
An easy recipe full of all the taco flavor in a soup form. A real food, dump and go easy meal!

- 2 lbs Ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup orange bell pepper chopped
- 2 1/2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups black beans prepared from dried, or canned
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilis
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Optional toppings
- shredded cheese
- diced avocado
- tomato slices
- Jalapeno slices
- cilantro
- yogurt or sour cream
Brown the ground beef or ground turkey and add it to your slow cooker.
Add the onions, peppers, broth, beans, corn, tomatoes and seasonings. Cook on low 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours
Serve garnished with cheese, tomatoes, avocados, jalapeños, yogurt or sour cream, and cilantro if desired.
