Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
  • 1 apple, core removed
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp peanut flour
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with chopped peanuts and cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Stevia or Truvia can be substituted for the honey if you're watching your calories. You would need to use much less.
Peanut butter can be substituted for the peanut flour.  Just keep in mind that this changes the amount of fat and calories.
If you're following the Trim Healthy Mama plan, this smoothie is an 'E'.  And if you are THM and using peanut butter, cut it back to 1 teaspoon to stay in E mode.
