Indian Spiced Grilled Chicken

  • cup olive oil
  • juice from half a lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 2 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pkg chicken drumsticks (family style)


  • Whisk together the oil, lemon juice, garlic, garam masala and salt.
  • Place chicken in a shallow dish or ziplock bag. Pour marinade over the chicken and toss to coat well. Marinate for 30 minutes up to one day.
  • Heat grill to 400-500 degrees. Place chicken on grill and cook 10-15 minutes per side or until cooked through. 


These can marinate up to 24 hours.
